I have information that says that Shein is taking a list of doctors, pharmacist and patients that need and want the generic products back on production. I am highly suggesting that we get this number out to all of our friends and allies and have them call as well. there are many folks in the HIV+ community that this is affecting as well and they can be a great ally in dealing with these pharmacutical companies, the number is: 1-800-645-6274. ******************************************************* The plant that made generic injectable testosterone cypionate and enanthate shut down due to a FDA regulation violation on another product. They produced all of the generic T* for all of the generic brands, (geneva, schein, url, etc...). Both of the companies that make the name brand products have steped up production, yes there was a delay, but there should be no more problems getting them. Just tell your pharmacist who to call, the numbers are listed below and they should be able to resolve the problem for you. The name brands are: from Bristol Myer Squibb, brand name Delatestryl, (made by BTG Pharmeceuticals, commonly known as testosterone enanthate, in a sesame seed oil) and from Upjohn, brand name Depo Testosterone, (commonly known as testosterone cypionate, in a cotton seed oil.) My understanding is that there is a significant price increase in the product because it is brand name. The cost for Delatestryl is $51 U.S. for 200mg in a 5ml bottle, and if you are quoted much above that you are being ripped off, [the generic cost was in the tune of $15-35 depending on location and brand]. I believe the cost for the Depo Testostrone, (I can't use it so I haven't looked too hard but if I remember what my pharmacist told me), is $30 ish for a 10ml bottle.
